With Baldwin’s, we offer a high-end service at an affordable rate ensuring excellent value for money. We prefer to prepare your furniture for transit as if it were our own; for example, we will wrap your mattresses and upholstered sofas and armchairs in bags to avoid any dust or dirt accumulation.
We will also export wrap your antique-like furnishings as well as your larger pictures, mirrors or valued artwork.
Across all services we offer, we include dismantling and reassembly as standard. This typically includes your beds and wardrobes.

Our Home Removal Options
Baldwin removals are one of the leading removal companies in Surrey.We provide a number of different options for you to choose from when it comes to the packing and unpacking of your treasured possessions.
Across all of the removal services we offer, we include dismantling and reassembly as standard. This typically includes your beds and wardrobes.
Home Removal Option 1:
When a customer opts to go with the Customer Pack option, we will provide them with all of the necessary packing materials.
Customer Pack - Load & Deliver
These materials include Large & Small boxes, Wardrobe Cartons for hanging clothes, Packing Paper, and Tape.
We do not provide Bubble Wrap due to it being very environmentally unfriendly.
All materials we supply and use are fully recyclable, even our plastic mattress bags - and our Office operates paperlessly.
The idea of the Customer Pack is simple - the Customer has all smaller belongings packed and prepared ahead of our arrival so our team can focus on preparing the furniture for transit, and loading and delivering all the effects.
Whilst this is always the cheapest option, it does increase the chances of damages as the goods have not been packed by professionals! Additionally, when a customer has not fulfilled their duty to complete the packing, it can cause delays when trying to clear the Collection Address.
Customer Pack options are almost always 1 day but can be up to 2-3 days depending on how far we are travelling, and for larger volume moves.
Home Removal Option 2:
The next step up is the Fragile Pack option where our Customer has the time to pack up all non-fragile items, such as linen and books, into boxes.
They do however want our professionals to pack their most fragile items, such as China & Glass, and wine collections.
This is the ‘halfway house’ option as it’ll essentially take roughly the same time period as the Customer Pack, but with additional staff required to carry out the packing of your fragile belongings.
This option is slightly rare in the sense customers usually want to handle all of the packing, or none of it at all - which leads us on to our last option!
Home Removal Option 3:
Sit back, and let us take care of your move completely; that’s essentially what this service offers.
It requires more of our resources so it does cost the most but you have the peace of mind knowing that your belongings are in the hands of professionals who are used to working to our removal plans and within our time schedules.
During this option, we will typically come in to pack and load your belongings roughly 1-2 days before the actual moving date. On the night before the moving day, our team will leave you with what we call your ‘overnight essentials’; these typically include your beds, a TV and sofa, and some cooking equipment.
The more minimalist, the better.
This is because on moving day, our team only need to return for a few items so we are clear of the property in good time - usually around 10:30am-11:00am.
What this means is you will have ample opportunity to clean the property, or have cleaners come in, and make sure you’ve read your meters etc. before having to drop the keys off with the estate agent. Fundamentally, there is no rushing around which reduces the stress of moving tenfold.
Meanwhile, once fully loaded, our team will travel to your delivery address, wait patiently for completion to go through and for you to collect the keys to your new home!
Once we have access, we will protect your floors before commencing delivery. Depending on the volume of goods we are moving, delivery will typically take either 1 afternoon or might require the day after as well to complete the delivery.
Regardless of the delivery timeframe, our team will reassemble your beds on moving day as well as redeliver your ‘overnight essentials’.
Dismantling & ReassemblyIt is worth pointing out that in all options, we are happy to carry out the dismantling and reassembling of your furniture at no additional charge and this is included as standard when moving with Baldwin Removals.
INTERNATIONALMoving, in general, is known to be one of the top three most stressful life experiences, let alone when moving abroad! At Baldwin’s, we will not only look after the moving process for you, we will also assist you in completing the customs process.
To moves in Europe, including France, Holland, Germany, Spain, and Switzerland, we will carry out the whole move with the same crew. We do not outsource and so it’ll be the same experienced staff who load your effects as who deliver them.
We can even accommodate to destinations outside of Europe using our expansive network of logistical contacts. We would load your effects into containers at our storage facility in Woking and book the shipping container to be loaded directly from our warehouse.
Full inventories will be made when loading up from your property with each box or item assigned a number. When loading the shipping container, we will check off each item as we load the shipping container so that nothing gets missed off.
With our range of contacts within the industry, we will use a trusted firm to handle the delivery into your new home.
STORAGEWe provide containerised storage solutions for all scenarios whether it be short-term or long-term storage you require. This includes temporary storage whilst your property undergoes redecoration/renovation work.
Working closely with Baldwin Storage, we can offer you a ‘mobile self-storage’ service where we can deliver the container to your door for you to load at your own pace, before we return to collect it later that day.
Gone are the days of needing to hire a rental vehicle for the day or having to navigate the tricky and narrow alleys of a self-storage facility.
Alternatively, we can carry out the packing and loading of your effects into our purpose-built containers and take all the stress away from you. Our team will dust-seal your furniture so that the condition of the item is exactly the same as when it went into storage and provide you with an inventory report of the effects being stored.
